Quincy's Granite Railway
Come learn about the life and remarkable career of archeologist Richard Muzzrole. Dick Muzzrole learned archeology on the job, as an assistant and digger on the Germantown Glassworks and Winthrop Iron Furnace excavations in the early 1950s. He educated himself and found his great work in excavating and analyzing the Granite Railway site in the ‘50s and ‘60s. On Tuesday, November 14th, at 7:00pm in the Community Meeting Room at the Thomas Crane Main Library, Al Bina and Tom Bonomi of the Granite Museum will present a power point on Dick’s work and discoveries and share reminiscences about a man who was an unforgettable character.
