The Quincy Symphony Orchestra will perform a free concert on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:30pm at the Lloyd Hill Performing Arts Center at Quincy High School.

Quincy Access Television will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

QATV will hold an "Orientation to TV" session on Monday, January 13th at 6:30pm for citizens of Quincy who are interested in producing a show or volunteering on a show produced at QATV. This 1-hour session will get you started on the road to producing your own TV show, volunteering on other productions, learning how to use a camcorder, video editing software and other aspects of TV production! Come learn about public access television and why community producers let the citizens of Quincy "see the difference!"

Attendees will also have an opportunity to register for classes to be held this winter in Studio Production, Field Production, Audio, Documentary Making and more.

Programming on QATV-8 and QATV-11 has resumed after a brief interruption this morning, Wednesday, January 8th.  All programming will air as scheduled this evening.

QATV will have live coverage of the inauguration ceremony of Mayor Thomas Koch tonight on QATV-8 and QATV-11 beginning at 6:30pm. The ceremony will also be rebroadcast on QATV-8 tonight at 9:00pm.

Quincy Access Television will have live audio of the 81st annual Thanksgiving football game between the Quincy Presidents and the North Quincy Red Raiders on Thanksgiving morning.  Live audio coverage will begin with a pre-game show at 9:30am, followed by live audio play-by-play at 10am.  QATV's Jonathan Caliri will call the play-by-play, Jim Timmins will serve as color analyst and Noel DiBona will report from the sidelines.

Replays of the game can be seen on QATV-8 starting Thanksgiving afternoon.  The replay times are:
Thanksgiving Day: 4pm, 8pm, Midnight
Friday, November 29th: Noon, 8pm
Saturday, November 30th: Noon, 10pm
Sunday, Decembers 1st: 8pm

As part of the Thanksgiving Football coverage, QATV will show "classic" Thanksgiving football games leading up to the 2013 matchup.

QATV will reopen on Tuesday, October 15th and hold regular business hours for the remainder of the week.

Quincy Access Television is once again the main sponsor of the 16th Annual Quincy ArtsFest, to be held on September 21st and September 22nd at the Koch Park and Recreation Complex.  ArtsFest, an annual event of the Quincy Art Association, will feature over 500 pieces of artwork and photography from talented individuals across Quincy and the South Shore in a juried show, members' show, photography show, "Best of Quincy" show and a young artist show, open to students in grades K-12.
