In observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year's holidays, Quincy Access Television will have early closing times and be closed on select days.

Wednesday, December 24th: Closing at Noon
Thursday, December 25th: Closed
Friday, December 26th: Closed

Wednesday, December 31st: Closing at Noon
Thursday, January 1st: Closed
Friday, January 2nd: Closed

QATV will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, January 5th.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Quincy Access Television will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th.  The Staff and Board of Directors of Quincy Access Television wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

QATV will provide live coverage of the 62nd annual Quincy Christmas Festival Parade on Sunday, November 30th beginning at 1pm.  QATV's Bette Campbell and Joe Catalano will host coverage of the annual parade!  A replay of the parade can be seen at 6pm.  For additional replay times, please visit the QATV-8 Program Schedule or call 617-376-1440.

Quincy Access Television will have live audio coverage of the 82nd annual Thanksgiving football game between the Quincy Presidents and the North Quincy Red Raiders on Thanksgiving morning. Live audio coverage will begin with a pre-game show at 9:30am, followed by live audio play-by-play at 10am. QATV's Jonathan Caliri will call the play-by-play, Jim Timmins will serve as color analyst and Noel DiBona will report from the sidelines.

Replays of the game can be seen on QATV-8 starting Thanksgiving afternoon. The replay times are:
Thanksgiving Day: 4pm, 8pm, Midnight
Friday, November 28th: Noon, 8pm
Saturday, November 29th: 8am, Noon, 10pm
Sunday, November 30th: 8pm
Monday, December 1st: 8pm

The Quincy DPW reminds citizens that curbside trash and recycling collection will be a day late when collection falls on a holiday.

In an effort to help you stay informed about this year's election, QATV offered all candidates on the November ballot, the opportunity to give a five-minute address to the voters. The following are the speeches of those candidates who participated:

The Quincy Fire Department offers tips for safe grilling.

QATV will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.  The Staff and Board of Directors of QATV wish you a happy and safe July 4th!

QATV will hold summer hours beginning Monday, June 30th until Tuesday, September 2nd.  Hours of operation will be 10am-8pm, Monday-Thursday and 10am-4pm on Fridays.

Watch QATV-8 for live coverage of the 63rd annual Quincy Flag Day Parade on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 7:15pm.  QATV's Bette Campbell and Joe Catalano will anchor coverage of the nation's oldest Flag Day Parade from QATV's vantage point outside Adams Field.
