QATV will hold summer hours beginning Monday, June 30th until Tuesday, September 2nd.  Hours of operation will be 10am-8pm, Monday-Thursday and 10am-4pm on Fridays.

Watch QATV-8 for live coverage of the 63rd annual Quincy Flag Day Parade on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 7:15pm.  QATV's Bette Campbell and Joe Catalano will anchor coverage of the nation's oldest Flag Day Parade from QATV's vantage point outside Adams Field.

QATV will be closed on Monday, April 21st in observance of the Patriots Day holiday. QATV will reopen on Tuesday, April 22nd and hold regular business hours for the remainder of the week.

The Quincy DPW is holding a contest to name the City of Quincy's new recycling robot. Submit your vote by visiting

QATV will hold an "Orientation to TV" session on Monday, April 7th at 6:30pm for citizens of Quincy who are interested in producing a show or volunteering on a show produced at QATV. This 1-hour session will get you started on the road to producing your own TV show, volunteering on other productions, learning how to use a camcorder, video editing software and other aspects of TV production! Come learn about public access television and why community producers let the citizens of Quincy "see the difference!"

Attendees will also have an opportunity to register for classes to be held this spring in Studio Production and more. The Studio Production course will begin on Thursday, April 10th and be held each Thursday through June 12th.

The Quincy Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert on Sunday, April 13th at Quincy High School.

The Quincy DPW will conduct spring street sweeping throughout the City of Quincy.  Sweeping will begin in Zone 1 (Wards 1 and 2) on March 31st, Zone 2 (Wards 3 and 4) on April 7th, and Zone 3 (Wards 5 and 6) on April 14th.

Its time to climb out from under all the snow because Spring is here!  The days are getting longer, flowers will soon be in bloom, trees are beginning to look alive, and things are heating up at QATV!  The QATV Spring classes will soon be underway.  Studio, camcorder, editing and more will be offered this season to members, new and old, of QATV.
