Bill Earley Awarded Brian Wilson Mentor Award by ACM-NE

The Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region has named QATV's Bill Earley as the 2010 recipient of the Brian Wilson Mentor Award.  The award is presented annually to an individual who has taught, guided and mentored public access television producers to achieve their goal of producing local programming.  The award is named in memory of Brian Wilson, a long time public access television advocate, counselor and guide.

Blue Hills Observatory Weather Updates Featured on AM Quincy

Listeners of AM Quincy can now look forward to local weather reports thanks to the staff of the Blue Hill Observatory.  Each weekday at 9:30am, Climatologist Bob Skilling or Meteorologist Sean Fankhauser will join AM Quincy host Joe Catalano to discuss the weather of the past 24 hours, an outlook for the day, and a look ahead to the next few days.

QATV Wins 3 Regional Awards

The Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region (ACM-NE) has announced Quincy Access Television is the winner of the 2010 Overall Excellence Award as part of the ACM-NE annual video festival.  QATV's entry, submitted and judged by a panel of professionals in public access television, will be awarded the honor at an awards ceremony to be held on November 13th in Concord, New Hampshire.  The announcement marks the second year in a row QATV has won the Overall Excellence award.

Members Make the Difference at QATV!

Quincy Access Television recently celebrated the hard work and dedication of its members and volunteers at its annual Member Appreciation Evening held at the Granite Links golf course.  The annual event allows the Board of Directors and Staff of QATV to thank its members for producing quality programming for the citizens of Quincy.
